History

NEO Monitors was founded as a 100% subsidiary of Norsk Elektro Optikk (NEO) in 2003 to take over responsibility for manufacture and marketing of NEO's gas and dust monitors. NEO has been active since 1985. 

 
2010  The first portable TDL analyser based on the 3rd.
           gen. electronics is released

2010  The 3rd generation of instruments LaserGas III is
           released

2009  NEO signs product license agreement with
           Servomex

2007  More than 2000 installations worldwide completed.

2005  LaserGas II Vial Tester - for quality control in the
           pharmaceutical industry - introduced

2004  LaserDust product line - successor of the DM3 -
           released

2003  LaserGas II product line released

2003  NEO Monitors is founded in October as subsidiary of
           Norsk Elektro Optikk

2002  NEO signs OEM agreement with ABB Germany

2002  NEO is appointed to participate in several EU
           projects (e.g. ROSE, ASSYST) targeting to further
           improve and exploit TDLAS technology

2001  First 500 installations worldwide completed

1995  Dust monitor DM3 - exploiting laser technology for
            dust monitoring - introduced to the market

1995  LaserGas - a gas monitor based on tuneable diode
            laser absorption spectroscopy (TDLAS) - released

1990  First spectroscopic gas monitor introduced to the
            market (HF open path for the Aluminium industry)

1985  Norsk Elektro Optikk is established as research
            oriented company in the field of electro optics
